Pricing:

  • $1,500 (Starting price, varies by complexity)

 Commercial Usage License: +75% of base price

  • Required for monetized streaming, merchandise, game sales

  • Personal use and hobby streaming included in base price


 Non-Disclosure Agreement: +25% of base price

  • If you need your character kept private until a specific date.

  • NDA periods are typically 7-14 days after delivery, but can be longer.

Hi I'm Zolbi! I'm a 3D Character Artist with over 6 years of Blender and 3D Character Pipeline experience. There isn't anything I love making more than stylized characters, and I'm always finding ways to improve my art even further! Frequently Asked Questions

What is rigging?
- Rigging is the process of creating control systems and deformations through vertex weights and bones that allow a 3D model to move. A rig allows an animator to manipulate the movements of a character's body, and/or their face. In essence, it is the skeleton and muscular system of a 3D model.
What are vertex weights?
- Vertex weights are numerical values from 0.0 to 1.0 assigned to each vertex or point on the character. They allow bones to move the vertex by an amount set by the weight, and multiple bones can influence a vertex at time. Although there are automatic weighting algorithms, hand painting the weights offers the best quality and control, allowing for good deformation while remaining performance friendly.
What is a Shape Key?
- Shape Keys are used to deform objects into new shapes for animation. In other programs, shape keys may be called “morph targets” or “blendshapes”. These are generally used to create facial expressions or corrective shapes on the model.
What is ARKit?
- ARKit is an application programming interface for iOS, iPadOS and VisionOS which lets third-party developers build augmented reality apps, taking advantage of a device's camera, CPU, GPU, and motion sensors.
I use ARKit compatible Shape Keys, which means any of my models with the Shape Keys can be used for ARKit face tracking through any applications that use the functionality. ARKit is commonly used on iPhone through the iFacialMocap app or on Warudo through a webcam with Mediapipe.

Terms of Service

General Info:
 By commissioning me, you are agreeing to receive art in my style. I can make some style adjustments, but this should be discussed before the commission starts and may incur additional fees if it requires heavy workflow changes.
Commission slots & Queue:
 I only receive commissions though the form provided on my commissions page, this is for both organizational and record-keeping purposes. Commissions are completed in the order they are received. Current slot availability is displayed on my commissions page, and progress is available through my Trello page.
Communication:
 All project discussions, updates, and image sharing will happen through Discord. Final file delivery will be sent via Proton Drive link and remain active for 30 days after delivery.
Requirements To Start:
 Commissions can only be started if image or video references are provided. Adequate reference material must be provided before the commission will be considered.
Pricing & Quotes:
 The final price may vary based on character complexity, additional features, and add-ons selected.  Any prices listed are estimates and may go higher than the listed price based on complexity. This will be discussed during the planning phase of the commission.
Payment Terms:
 Payment is collected through a PayPal invoice. Payment can be a single lump sum payment at the beginning of the commission, or it can be divided 50% at the beginning and 50% in the middle of the commission (typically after texturing the base model). No files will be handed over until full payment is received.
Refunds & Cancellations:
 No refunds can be made after work on the commission begins. You may however cancel the commission at any time before work has started.
 Unprofessional behavior will result in a canceled commission. This includes: Not responding to milestone updates or revision requests for 30 consecutive days without prior notice, excessive revisions/changes, etc.
 I retain rights to repurpose the work even if the commission is canceled.
Usage Rights:
 Commissions can be used for personal content. Commercial merchandising or monetized content must be negotiated and will incur additional fees.
Artist Rights:
 I retain the right to:
- Display your commissioned character in my portfolio
- Share work-in-progress images on social media
- Use the work in promotional materials (website, commission examples)
- Create process breakdowns or tutorials featuring the work
 *(If applicable, the above applies after the non-disclosure period)
 You must credit me (Zolbi3D) whenever displaying or using the commissioned character publicly. This includes:
- Social media posts
- Streaming overlays
- Video descriptions
